John, Teresa, and Jake Timmer have requested that a fund be established in Heath's name. The West Michigan Hockey Association Board under the direction of our President Ed Stasiak formally established the Heath Timmer Youth Hockey Endowment Fund.
This is to provide scholarships to help kids that otherwise would not be able to play the sport we so dearly love. The Timmers thought a great deal about this and decided that they wanted to establish this fund because that's what Heath would have wanted. Our Captain lived to play this sport every day. John and Teresa Timmer will play an active role with this endowment and they want the scholarships to be available to all kids who want to play hockey. In other words, the purpose of this fund will not be limited to just kids from our association.
Contributions can be made to the "Heath Timmer Youth Hockey Endowment Fund" and sent to:
